| 1. It saves you the cost of producing and posting CD's & tapes that invariably end up in some disinterested A&R guys waste paper basket (often unheard!?!). | For this type of submission system to work, we need your help by strict adherence to the following 2 requests; | |
| 2. It saves us the time and man-hour costs associated with wading through inordinately large piles of unsolicited CD & tape submissions. |  |
1. Maximum email size is 900K (the server will reject anything greater). Attach short audio extracts of your two best songs in either RealAudio™ or mp3 format. Limit the duration of each track to approximately 1 minute and encode using the following settings; RealAudio™ - Single Rate @28K or mp3 - 64kBit/s @ 22KHz |

2. Include a very brief biography & recent optimised jpg/gif photo if possible (email size allowing). |

If we like what we hear we will move to the next stage of the A&R process and forward a copy of the Artists Agreement via return email and ask you to make a more formal submission of your best material in either tape or CD format. The main points of the Artists agreement are summarised below and are intended for information only; |
||
| 1. Artists will receive one of the highest % returns currently available on the internet for each unit sale of their material. | ||
| 2. Artists receive a web page to promote their band/material. | ||
| 3. Artists must own all copyrights associated with the submitted audio and graphics. | ||
| 4. Artist grants Hand Held Halo Productions a non-exclusive royalty free world-wide license to promote and distribute the artist and their material. Basically this means you will retain all copyrights as well as the right to terminate the agreement and move on. | ||
| 5. No guarantee's of super stardom, we'll just present you to the masses in a format you're happy with in a fair and representative manner. | ||
